In this Scan to BIM project, a laser scanner has been used to capture an accurate 3D
scan of the real world conditions.
Based off of that, this project required of my
team and me to model as precisley as
possible the already existing building.
Our knowledge of architecture, civil
engineering and also MEP design
was used.
We’ve used the scan, pictures, and
drawings of the building as our
database.
Not only did we model the building, did all
the MEP installations,
but also modeled families for the building
requirements, such as windows and
ornaments.
